If they keep using their speed, no one in this league is going to be able to skate with them.

They're three of the fastest skaters I've ever seen... and yes, Kaleta too.

Not only was he a rocket ship on the back check last night, but watch how fast he torpedos in on this hit.

Ya, I remember saying to my wife how that guy was going to be looking for Kaleta and playing scared the rest of the game. I loved that line last night. They were awsome together.

Line 3
Kennedy - Ennis - Kaleta

Line 4
Ellis - Goose - Grier?

Then who ends up the odd man out?

Bah,
Couldn't we just throw Hecht out the bus window driving through a town somewhere in Pennsylvania? :)

when they are driving back through nashville. Nashville has the cap space to take a guy like hecht or pominville.

Ennis should alternate between playing with Connolly and Vanek on first line and the third line for some much needed speed at center or wing with those two.

But the third line would be too small, not one guy over 6 foot on that line, but they all are physical and like to get fiesty on that line together.

I'd love to, but if Staff comes back Wednesday, there's no room. It's annoying.

Why would we do that?

Stafford has one more goal than Horton this season.

Yeah, but he's been playing with Roy and Connolly at center. Who does Horton have?

Exactly. It might be a great line, but it wouldn't happen because we have Jochen.

Fucking Hecht... It's like we head out to a club for some action with great game, looking solid, awesome lines, but are always getting cock-blocked by that pathetic loser Jochen, who fucks up our best chances to score because he can't handle his shots.

Why would they send Ennis back down? I'd rather scratch Mair and keep Ennis up until Grier is ready to play that way we can see if he can keep the pace he had Saturday. I'd love to see him up here for another game or 2. At least keep him here for the Panthers, it's not like it's statement game like when we play Boston on Friday.

You'd rather have Mair in the line up against Florida than Ennis?

This is fuckin the best answer I have ever read.
Has anyone thought of sending this in a letter to Lindy and the Shadow (Formerly known as Darcy Reiger)?
Could you imagine this letter being the last thing the players see before hitting the ice for a game?
I doubt Jochen would see the puck all game lol

I loved Ennis on Saturday. I'm excited for our future with him. HOWEVER...one good game doesn't mean he's ready to be a permanent part of the roster. I think these things have to be done slowly. Let him go back to Portland with the ego boost he got this weekend with his first goal in his first game and let his confidence explode. Its nice to know he's there for when we have to put him in. Bring him up time and again this season and put him on the roster for next year. I think the Sabres have too much chemistry this year to axe anyone for Ennis at this point. JMHO
