It's possible he's channeling Spinal Tap?

Nevermind, they kept saying "Hellooooo, Cleveland!"

There are going to be some Michigan Wolverine fans now and some happy Buckeye fans

i guess they'll start questioning if his age is a factor on his memory. must have been embarrassing. Does anyone know how the fans reacted to it?

The article said it was a "forgiving" audience. But I'm sure that's only correct to a certain degree.

I guess it's easy to confuse cities/states/venues when you spend practically your whole life on the road touring.

It's not the first time a celebrity has confused their tour dates.

It's happened to young ones and old ones, and happens every once in awhile.

I've been to several concerts where the person/band had no idea where they were. They'd be like, "And how are you tonight, Columbus?" and it's like, "Dude, this is Buffalo." When you put on a couple hundred shows a year, it's going to happen.

As long as when he comes to Buffalo, he doesnt say "HELLO TORONTO!!! GO LEAFS!", he's good with me!

When Mastodon played here at the end of October, the one member who said good night is from Atlanta and said "Thank you, Buffalo!". But the drummer, who is from Rochester and played with bands in WNY, said "Good night, Hamburg!"

It brought a smile to my face :D

Yeah, but it still sucks though as a fan and you take pride in your locale and your favorite band fucks that up.

He is still only a human. And if you've been touring for almost 40 years, you're bound to fuck up once in awhile.
