Kind of wish he would have, but I suppose they're saving him for this weekend.

First period, we showed up. Solid first.

After it was 1-1, well, given FLA played a standard trap (which worked) we shit the bed. Everyone fucking up on passes, some not moving their feet, Miller looked frustrated as ol fuck with the D coverage. Although, that one puck he decided to play right up the gut was his own god damn fault, the D was pretty lax. And I'm not just talking about our D-men. I mean man to man coverage.

I'm not canning the season, but lord jesus if we're gonna be playing boston and ottawa and the likes in the coming days, we need to look better. Lapses will happen I know, but god boys.

Next game Lalime will be in, I'll put money on it. Better be a different team on the ice Friday night.

The kicker is the home games; no excuse to come out so flat (sans the first period) at home.

You can be the optimist; that's okay, but I don't feel that way. This was a lot of what we see all too often from a Lindy Ruff team without natural spark plugs like Briere and Drury.
