ETC speaks truth... the boys were too busy reading all their good press to focus on the game. Oh well, if it means they come out on fire against Boston and Ottawa, especially Ottawa, than I'll forgive them for this dud.

Props to Kaleta and Goose, who as usual played hard and smart all game long. MacArthur may have been our best player tonight, so I'm thrilled that he scored.

Miller was sleepwalking, Connolly had a very lazy game, Hecht was horrendous, and the defense just looked terrible. Vanek got a couple of assists, but otherwise played very uninspired, while Roy was a fucking turnover machine all night.

Done, in the books, over. I'm glad they got spanked back down to earth, and fully expect a much better effort this weekend.
