I think Ruff is different with his players this year.

Especially with a rookie who can be set back so easily with harsh attitude. They all knew he was eventually going to make some mistakes, but benching him for doing his best isn't the way to treat a young kid like that.

As I said in the GDT, the call on Rivet was horseshit. The Bruins player was holding onto Rivet's stick like it was the last fucking raft on the Titanic.

It's kind of funny...Lindy Ruff is the kind of coach to bench a player after a really bad set of shifts like that. But Myers was back on the ice the very next shift, and he just dusted his shoulders off.

LMAO! I was thinking the same thing after he dropped that pass in the 1st man! But then I thought, yeah, Lindy is going to bench his BEST D-man. ESPECIALLY with Rivie and goose out. I think Lindy knows what to expect from the kid. He knows he'll make some mistakes. And ya know what? I think Myers learned what not to do from that play. He learned NOT to be too pretty with his plays. Lindy knew he felt enough shame from coughing up that first goal. But, he also knew he wouldn't make that same mistake twice!

Unless you name is Sekera or Vanek you will sit if you make mistakes.

I heard Bob Marley's "Buffalo Soldier" during Grier's interview...
