He is playing with Kovalchuk and Peverly also, which will boost his point totals.

As much as I wanted Max gone for being a bum within the Sabres' system, I don't hate that he's doing well in ATL...only when he does against us do I get angry haha

Of course he's playing well.

I'm glad he is doing great in ATL, that is the kind of player he should have been here, but it never worked out here. Was never with players who matched him in speed.
