I thought max was going to go to the KHL? That is what all the experts have said around the old Sabres site. I thought a thread in the NHL section about Max(who was loved by half the fans) would be fine, in a Max thread.

I'm glad Max is being given the chance to play with great players right now, he deserves it and I'm glad he is doing great.

even if he had stayed in Buffalo he would not be playing like thia an we all knew it, it was his time to leave our organization.

I am actually happy for him, people spite Darcy that they let him go but I guarantee that he would not have played like that here, he has friends there and a coach that actually likes him. If the environment is right then he will be more comfortable and thus play better.

The whole Max debate is ridiculous. The guy had numerous chances to be an asset he failed to do so. You can blame Lindy as much as you want, but on the ice, Max was a liability, period. So he's doing good elsewhere, good for him. It's not like that's never happened with any other player before.

JP Losman just went and won a Championship in the UFL.
