8th notes for the first 3 measures, quarter notes for the last measure.

Count is 4/4 time.

I'm going to go play it on the piano. I'll be back in a bit.

That's like last round when I busted CV with lyrics to a song by the Smiths - it turned out no one even knew about some female actress named Smith that played Capt. Kirk!

My oldest sons reads music. I'll see if I can get a hold of him tomorrow if no one else comes up with anything.

Does anyone play the piano that can go play it now and see what song it is?

ETA: just saw PSP's post. I'll wait to see what it is ;)

Okay my keyboard is out of batteries. I'm in some trouble. I'm trying to play it online but playing the computer keyboard is much different from the piano keyboard.

I'm playing it.

It's very erie. I don't recognize it.

It sounded really terrible when I put those notes in an online composer.

Well by just looking at it, nothing comes to mind. As it isn't in any sort of key or anything. It is just random notes on on the Treble clef scale ranging from a Low E to a High E, so it is a two octave range.

That would equal 25 different possible notes. Including both sharps and flats.

i wonder if the fact that it is in treble clef has anything to do with anything. I'm trying to see possible ways to convert music to something we can scramble.

4 pops out to me as a common number in it. 4/4 time. 4 measures. the eighth notes are obviously all groups of 4. 4 quarter notes in the last measure. ? just shooting some shit out here.

There really isn't one. It sounds awful, according to that internet thing.

Maybe it's backwards...wild guess, sheet music is probably the best code ever to hide something from me :)

The melody is terrible.

I'm wondering if it has something to do with the rhythm of the notes, or perhaps the letters.

Some of the notation is sharp and flat.

As Crim stated, it has a 2 octave range from low E to high E.

It's in 4/4 time.

There are 3 measure of 8th notes and 1 measure of quarter notes.

I'm very curious.
