The Laffs are up 2-0 on the Habs, in Montreal.

Orr gets his first in a year, and Finger his first of the season.

Price is looking porous and the Toronto forecheck is catching the Habs flat-footed and sluggish - They've become a giveaway machine.

Kessel's looking sharp, but blew a breakaway, with a shot that went waaay wide, from about 20 feet out - He "Pommered" it, but bad.

Spacho keeps blasting the glass and the mesh, from the point.

Montreal looks very beatable. And I'm drinking Jameson's. :D

I hate TO more, but I hate Montreal a lot. TO better beat them, so the Sabres can go farther.

Montreal is slightly closer in the standings to us, so we want Toronto to win.

I can't wait to see San Jose tear Ottawa to shreds tonight.

End of the first, still TOR 2-0 MTL. Spacho's coughing the puck up in his own zone, under the pressure of the TO forecheck.

The Laffs are outskating and out-hitting the Habs, and beating them in every foot-race to the puck. Wilson musta drilled the christ out of them, at practice today.

The monster hasn't been challenged all that much, but has made a couple of nifty stops through traffic.

The Sabres need to watch this game film tomorrow; the Habs are full of holes and looking mighty lazy.

Hamrlik's screwed the pooch, on a couple of pinches, and that led to a couple of deadly odd-man rushes for the Leafs. Almost reminiscent of Good (bad) Ol' Dmitiri...

Leafs will find a way to lose in the end...they always do.

...and the Habs are making MacDonald look good; Cammalleri and D'Agostini missing open-net shots.

Carey Price made a good save but TO is really playing the puck well.

Toronto's fourth line is just laying havoc to the Habs. They're swarming like bees...Price is the difference, right now, between the current score and a 5-0 Toronto lead.

Gustavsson's met with team doctors...announcement due at the end of the second.

Stajan scores on a long pass from Kessel...3-0 Toronto. Hamrlik blows another pinch.

The Sabres REALLY need to be watching this game tonight, and have all their DVR's recording it for viewing tomorrow, too.

Seems Gustavsson's been taken to the hospital for "precautionary" reasons...more to come.

Jackets just tied it up at one with the Hawks.

Now it's 2-1 Jackets.

Stajan may not be in on all of the Laffs' goals tonight, but he's been on the ice for all of them. His squad has been huge for Toronto tonight.

Also, fuck, I have a bad feeling it's something to do with Monster's heart.

Time to boot up the streams now that I'm done watching GI Joe

Courtesy of Damien Cox & the Toronto Star:

Cox: Gustavsson taken to hospital with elevated heart rate

"MONTREAL–Another scare for Jonas Gustavsson.

The Maple Leaf rookie goalie was removed from Tuesday night's Leafs-Montreal Canadiens game after a perfect first period when he began to suffer from an elevated heart rate. Gustavsson was taken to a Montreal hospital for precautionary reasons."

...it's his heart. Again.

I know we've seen this before, so we'll probably see it again...how long does it take until the Habs fans start to serenade the winning opposing goalie like the idiots they are?
