What happened to him? I heard he left after the 1st period, but didn't hear why.

Leafs fans are saying it's for precautionary reasons, so I'm sure he's alright.

One half of tonight's dealings have gone our way so far. Right now, I hope the Sharks are kicking the shit out of Ottawa.

San Jose up 2-1, they are resting Nabokov though, so could go either way.

Man that's scary, having that kind of heart trouble at that age.

I'm sure he'll be fine. Elevated heart rates aren't really that uncommon. It's only when they get above 220ish that there begins to be any danger of going into cardiac arrest (really only in dire danger with, like, 240+ though), and getting that high's not too much of a feat. I get to that point myself when exercising sometimes, probably every other week or so (it's not from working too hard, just have a naturally high heart rate). Just take a break, and that's that.

He should be OK.

Well, the Sens lost tonight, 5-2. So that means that all good things came to pass today.

We've got games in hand on a lot of teams, too.

Boston hosting Tampa Bay tonight, a win for Boston would put them above Buffalo for 1st in the division with 33 points, but we would also have 3 games in hand.

Jersey hosting Vancouver, Jersey on a 3 game win streak, they have struggled a little on home ice this year though, hopefully those struggles continue. Jersey is currently in 4th in the conference with 35 points to Buffalos 32 (Both with 24 GP).

And finally Florida is hosting Colorado, Florida is currently in 13th in the division with 24 points in 26 games, a less than stellar .462 point percentage. They are currently sitting on a 3 game losing streak.

Boston up 4-0 over Tampa Bay, and Vancouver over Jersey 3-2 after 2 periods. Florida up 2-0 over Colorado midway through the 2nd. Not much going our way tonight other than Jersey losing to Vancouver

The one game I really wanted to go our way - Boston and Tampa - is decidedly not doing so. Ass.

Aye, Boston wins 4-1, Jersey ended up losing 5-2, Florida also looks like they are going to pull out a win, 5-3 with 10 minutes to go.

Busy day in the NHL today. Of course we have Buffalo hosting Montreal tonight, Buffalo leads Montreal by 6 points in the standings and has 3 games in hand as well.

Philly hosting Vancouver, Vancouver is coming off 5-2 win over Jersey from last night, hopefully they can do us another favor and beat the flappers.

Washington hosting Florida, Florida coming off a SO win over Colorado, hopefully that gives them momentum going into tonights game over Washington.

Atlanta hosting Islanders, Atlanta sitting 1 point behind Buffalo with the same amount of games played, Islanders 4 points behind with 3 more games played. Atlanta sitting on a 4 game win streak.

Columbus hosting Toronto, Toronto still 2nd from last in the division, they may have some momentum coming into this game after shutting out Montreal 2 nights ago.

Pittsburgh hosting Colorado, Colorado coming off a SO loss to Florida last night, Pittsburgh sitting 1st in the conference with 38 points, 6 points above Buffalo who has 4 games in hand.

LA hosting Ottawa, Ottawa hasn't had much success away from home, posting a 3-5-1 record. LA is currently on a 2 game win streak.

The only game tonight that has any tangible effect on the Sabres really is Isles and Thrashers, with the Isles leading 2-1 after 40
