Not good. But, a quick goal changes everything.

Forwards weren't very good that game, either.

This game is much, much worse.

How cute!

The first year I moved here, there was traffic jam over 14 hours long because of an 1/8th inch of ice on the road, had people waited for an hour, it would have all melted, but everyone left work and panicked.

God yeah its horrible down here in NC, people go crazy at the threat of snow. I work in a grocery store and we are slammed if they call for snow on the news, can't keep the shelves stocked with milk and bread.

The Rangers game just looked like a "down" night. Even teams like the Caps have those.

This game is different.

Grier's out of the lineup...says it all.

Looks like everyone's being fancy-schmancy. Gotta settle down and play some friggin focused Hockey.

Still a period to go. No more nonsense.

I agree Timbo, it is the forwards. As I have stated for a long, long, llllllllooooooooonnnnnnnnggggggggg time now, this team is missing a couple of pieces. The current Defense on this team has been improved dramatically, but the offensive side of this team is not near consistent enough. But hey, I'll beat a dead horse ( ;) all about it Sky) every chance I get. If a fan base can see the problem, you can bet management knew about it long ago.
But, they are getting more competitive. A couple more years and we should be there depending on what moves management makes.
Besides, they are always fun to watch, even during the losses :)

If Darcy gets Marty as our backup, and someone like Patrick Sharp at the deadline....we will be a contender this year. If not, then we'll have to wait a year or two to seriously contend for the Cup.

kinda happened here at the mixing bowl. Everyone left early because of freezing rain but the Virginia dept of transp thought it wasn't bad enough to get the salt out on all the extremely high on and off ramps of the mixing bowl. hundreds were stranded on the ramps with over 50 accidents
