All images taken Nikon P90 - No special lenses, no filters, natural light, no edit, no crop, no prop, no photoshop, selected aperture/exposure settings, within 1/4 mile of home.

These are the constraints I operate under. Not by choice, either. But I accept them - They simplify the art.

It makes for some very restrictive and honest photography.

I'd love to shoot a Hockey game (again) - I've tried to get tickets, and seem to not have much luck with that, this season...It's frustrating.

I do human studies, in motion, very well. Seems I have an instinct for the dynamic.

I was a sports and concert stringer, for a few years...Life changes one; and one finds the need to move on.

Cheers.

[edit: I do use a digital stitcher, for the panoramic shots, though.]

I found a picture of myself checking into college last year, on the college's website. I didn't know that picture existed until now.

I, for one, like them a lot. They're not bad, and in today's world of extreme photo editing, that is somewhat difficult to pull off. It requires an actual eye.

I miss having the time to Photoshop. That, and I also lost the pen to my Wacom tablet and they're like $40 to replace or something ridiculous like that. :\

I think I lost it during my move from home to UB. With any luck, it's somewhere at home.

Oh, ouch. I remember when you posted about getting that; I am still envious.

AMAZING. It was absolutely amazing... They had his paintings, props and costumes from his movies, sketches... everything. I was sad though because no photography was allowed.

I think he is underrated as an artist. I'm glad he has an exhibition now.

I totally would print out a picture of Umberger and tape it up next to this one.

Yeah, I was blown away by the exhibit. I could have spent hours in there.

Thanks! I love it too...I just got it a few weeks ago and I've been pratically living in it ever since haha.

Hahaha...that's a good one. Didn't someone on the old boards have an avatar that was Warhol's soup cans that said "Smoked Umberger Soup" on the label or something?

read his book "the game".. it seemed he was torn between loving the game, and despising it.

So you took that shot of the moon just with your camera - no special telephoto? Awesome.

My pictures were taken in a very crude method - holding my pocket digital camera up to the eyepiece of a friend's telescope.
