Quote:
Buffalo, NY (WGR 550) -- Andrej Sekera tried to practice today, but couldn't after taking a shot on the ankle against the Devils. Lindy Ruff says the defenseman is questionable for tomorrow's game against the Capitals. Nathan Paetsch played both defense and forward during the marathon practice. Ruff spent around three hours with his team today between video and on ice practice.

Mike Grier, Chris Butler and Paul Gaustad were the others not practicing.

Someone's going to be up from Portland. It has to happen.

Weber hopefully.

So glad Sekera will be out, I am too scared when he is on the ice.

D-man or Gerbe/Ennis? We could just play Patches at D, and call up Gerbe, which is what I'd prefer.

Patches will play D, and we'll see Ennis or Gerbe called up.

This is how coaching is supposed to be done. After watching last night i thought maybe lindy will go Herb Brooks on their asses.. Sounds like he is. If you dont want to work during a nationally televised game or any game for that matter your ass is going to work after the game and before the next one. Bottom line they get paid to work out there yeah its game but its a demanding game. Hockey has no room for quitters and i think lindy is going to start some benching for the slackass players out there (I know i would). If the sabres come out and play hard and we know when they are playing hard and lose i wouldnt be half as mad as i was last night.. I heardly ever turn the channel on sabres, last night i did. Dont make me do it again.

What? I've actually been enjoying Sekera's performances this year

I won't share my thoughts on this. They're bound to "upset the applecart".

Come on why not Ennis? He is the only one of the two to have balls and score a goal. And he's a tough little guy from MEDICINE HAT.

Did you see his really stupid giveaway on the PP in the first which resulted in an amazing shorthanded opportunity?

It wasn't all his fault, but he was against McAmmond of all people.
