I like both Mac and Windows, but I'm definitely more PC proficient. I just started playing around with Ubuntu, so I can add Linux to the list now. I'm just as at home with the three at this point, but I'm sharpest with Windows.

I like PCs. Getting Windows 7 when I go home for break. No more idiotic Vista! It's $30 for college students until January. Basically, it's my Christmas present. Haha.

I'm OS agnostic at this point. They're all just tools to get a job done.

BSD (OS X) is superior for nerdy reasons I'm not going to get into and everyone can admit, you can't shake a stick at Cupertino when it comes to UI design.

Sad but true, you lost me Cross - I don't have a clue what anything you mentioned is, but I'm glad there are dudes like you, who do.

Did I mention that when I took computer science in college, they taught me FORTRAN!! That knowledge is extremely beneficial today!! Fortunately I killed the brain cells that held that knowledge! :obscene-drinkingdrunk:

Yikes! Sounds like something I'd say!

But seriously Wyo; I have some old punch cards I could give you a great deal on, and I'll throw in the rubberbands.

This sums it up well.

My desk at work is XP/ Ubuntu / Macbok left to right, and 2 Debian machines in the back.

Each has something it's better at than the others.

Hey now...I learned FORTRAN and COBOL in college...w00h00!

(although at the time, there was a lot of money to be made for COBOL programmers fixing Y2K bugs)

...then tell me you use Synergy http://synergy2.sourceforge.net/

I've got a similar multi-machine / multi-OS set up here at the office and synergy makes it awesome.

This is true...the only other big annoyance I have is switching ctrl / command buttons between systems (ie I hit the damn windows button when I try to do an apple style copy-paste on my XP machine). But that's a personal problem :)
