Lalime going against the Hawks makes sense. Miller needs a rest, it's at home, the Hawks are non-conference, we play again on Saturday against the Rangers, and Chicago is Lalime's previous team.

Meanwhile, Connolly leaves practice with a hip issue. Ruff said it's no biggie, but knowing fragile Timmy's past, and the fact that he had the hip operated on last year, and the fact that he's playing like total shit, I have to wonder if he'll be soon out of the lineup for an extended period.

Good news: Gaustad resumed skating today. Not ready to return yet, but it's a very good sign.
