I hate penalty's...even against the opposing team. These slashing/tripping/hollding calls need to be cut down on. Shouldnt be a penalty unless they fall, or it significantly reduces the chance of scoring.

i would agree but I think that would lead to an increase in obnoxious stickwork which isn't good

I really miss old hockey though. There is no emotion anymore. Even the fights are kinda cheesy now. If they allowed more hits, hooking, holding, and slashing calls....it would become more physical, it would piss all of the players off, and there would be real fights, with actual anger. Not the fights llike...oh were down wanna fight? just for fun?
