That's really weird. Someone posted a near identical video in last Thursday's GDT. The only difference that I see is the ending. The one last week ended with Big TomG in the suite with what looked like Rick Martin next to him.

I probably posted that video (I have it bookmarked hee hee). Both were put together by the Sabres, so it was easy for them to get ahold of the original to edit this shit out of. The original video was produced to celebrate the history of the Sabres leading up to Golisano's purchase, so they just added sexy moments from after the lock-out to it. Beautiful use of O Fortuna

I like how they have this years team in it as well. If you slow it down during the quick montage at the end you see Kennedy and Butler, and I'm sure they had Myers in there as well. The past, present, and future of our team.

Was it called "Buffalo Sabres History"? Can you post it or look at the ending? I swear that's Rick next to TommyG at the very end and it appears to be recent. I was going to ask him last night if that was him, but there was no logical way to ask "Hey, was that you at the end of the Sabres history video with BTG"? It sounded dumb no matter how many times I tried to rephrase it in my head. Funny, funny story I have about RM from Wednesday night. The entire time I was sitting there with him, I kept wondering if I should get home to post in the Assassin thread

what the fuck, this video is old! theres been a similar one youtube for a few years. just starts off with the sabres wearing their old home whites for the season finale in 02-03.

ends different. shows post lockout alot. regardless, dont use the same formula and add stuff.. just seems kinda phoned in.

Yes, this video is very similar to the one they made when Golisano bought the team, just updated to include stuff from the past few years.

They sent out a copy on DVD to people who had purchased tickets the previous year.
