Is it just me, or do games played in Montreal make you feel like you need glasses or a better prescription? I can hardly see a thing!!

Well, yeah, I guess it does explain a lot. LOL But their games are always all shadowy and dark...like they only have half the lights on. Drives me NUTS!!

its a very dark arena, like madison square... id have to look at the specifics, but yeah, its a very dark arena. my guess is they have certain house lights on for certain cameras, like MSG. they only use one side of the lights... weird huh?

ill do some digging, im sure i can find something out. its very possible that its an old lamp system that was out of date the same year it was installed.

digging complete, my honest guess is its just the dark interior painting of the molson centre. its painted very dark.

Knowing Montreal, its probably a tactic, just like the shitty boards. Home ice advantage. French Canadians play well in the dark because they devoloped sonar due to the long, dark winter months in Canada.

its just a dark arena... the lamp system is standard. paint the rafters something softer, that would really do wonders.

I dont know if anyone caught this...but i'm pretty sure the camera guy was using a different zoom, it was pulled back a bit which allowed for more context of the ice/a wider viewing angle, but decreased the details a bit. I like it, I hate when the puck is sliding off screen and you have no idea who's player is going to get it.

I found the camera work on this particular VS game to be poor. Maybe it was different parts of the game than what you're referencing, but I was constantly finding I was watching parts of the ice that were away from the puck. That and they missed the friggin' opening faceoff. Damnit, VS, get it together!

Me too. It was driving me nuts. I also noticed the wider camera shot, and I didn't like that, either. Couldn't see as well.

Versus camera work has always been bad because they try too hard to keep the puck in the center of the screen.
