I'm heartbroken to hear this...

Quote:
OTTAWA -- Senators leading scoring Jason Spezza will be out indefinitely after injuring his knee during a loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Spezza hurt his left knee Thursday night when he was checked into the boards by Martin St. Louis with six minutes left. He did not return to the game.

Spezza walked with a limp Friday and said he has "no idea" when he'll be back. This is his first knee injury.

This is great news. Even though he's only got 5 goals this year, he's a Sabre killer.

TSN is reporting he could be down for almost 2 months.

Yes, Sabre killer, but still don't like to see a guy go down like that.

This team is really nose-diving...But, they always seem to outwork the Sabres. Why is that?

I think we see that Ottawa jersey, and we play like shit. Not as much intimidation, as in the "Oh, we're just gonna lose anyway" kind of mentality. Sort of like when Lalime is in net, and the team doesn't play as good. It's a mental thing, and it needs to STOP!

You know, Spezza was injured when Lee Stempniak fell on his leg. Stempniak is a Buffalo boy.

I'm just sayin'.

Well the only Sabre Killer they have on the team not injured or with San Jose is Alfredsson.

I think we got a good chance here.
