Montreal Canadiens goalie Jaroslav Halak wants to play more and it appears that general manager Bob Gainey is willing to accomodate him if the right offer comes along.

He'd be an upgrade over Emery and Boucher, but not a big one.

But Montreal is looking for a top-6 forward, in return...although they don't want to have to carry the cap for someone like Briere.

Halak is kind of similar to Emery suspect 5-hole and all, albeit with better positioning.

Halak > The Boxing Goalie + Boucher but thats not what the Flyers need if they're up for a cup run they need a top goalie and I love to say it and here it is: no chance at all!

And please for the sake of god no Turco for Philly.

Philly may have no choice; though for Carter they can perhaps do better than Halak.....

...the Flyers have also claimed Graeme and Leighton off waivers. But, I guess they're looking for a "true" number-one.
