I LOVE BEING HOME.

I also LOATHE my place of employment. They let the supervisor of the entire facility go today with one day of warning. A week before Christmas. And they're putting someone entirely incompetent in his place. She currently schedules ten nurses to work. Now she'll be in charge of 117 residents. They gave her an ultimatum: take the job, or lose yours, too. She's a single mother of three kids. Can't afford to lose her job, though she has ZERO training for this and is 100% lost.

WHAT ON EARTH.

And what doesn't make sense is that they're letting the supervisor go to save money, but at the same time the nurse manager that's going to take his place has to get a bachelor's degree (she currently only has an associate's), and they're going to pay for the necessary classes because they can't expect her to (though I would not put it past them to be honest; I know far too much about them and could call the state and have them busted on a couple dozen things every day). Ummm.

They're also in the process of being sued by numerous former employees for not giving employees lunch breaks, or if they do, they're like 5-10 minutes long. I can vouch for that...

I'm finally watching the second half of the series finale of Monk.

I've never been so sad over the ending of a show. That is probably because the only other show I've ever followed to the end in my life was Early Edition. lol.

Now I have literally nothing that I watch on TV other than hockey games...

My friend Grace and I went shopping for ugly sweaters yesterday. Wednesday is Ugly Sweater Day at school, and some of the teachers are giving extra credit if you wear one. Also there will be a party in almost all of my classes that day. Four blocks, three parties. 0.o

I am very excited.
