Is it just me, or does it appear that what happened to the Grinch's heart happened to Lydmans nads between periods? He is skating and hitting like I haven't noticed for a while!! :clap: :clap:

Matt Ellis has had me watching him all game - not that I don't, usually - This kid works soooo hard, finishes his checks, handles the puck smartly.

What a great value.

Kennedy's working very hard, as well - He's taking a beating, out there. The officials missed a spear on him, last shift. He caught it right in the gut, and kept on digging.

I'd like to see him on a line with Laraque, he has been getting abused more than he should this year - part of the rookie induction into the NHL, and he does stand up for himself, but it would be nice if he could pass/shoot the puck into Laraque standing in front of the net, and i'm quite certain he wouldn't suffer as much stick work next to little Georges!! :D :D

The Sabres are playing more of a "man"-game, taking the body, rather than playing the puck - Finishing their checks. Digging hard along the low wall and in the corners. Crashing the crease. Shooting quicker.

More of a "classical" style of Hockey - I'm liking it a great deal.

Random question -when Stafford is beyond the circles, does he ever actually get the puck on net? Serious question. He cannot score when he's not inside the circles. He always shoots wide.
