I didn't realize we all lived together and have the same roommate! My roommate(s) doesn't do shit around the house. I have to load the dishwasher, run it...(pathetic I know but if I don't he won't do it), empty it(or he'll put dirty dishes in there when it's full), and hand wash my pots and pans that he uses/destroys.

It's even better with the trash. If I don't empty the trash and put it in the garbage can it won't get done. I tried to see what he'd do if I did nothing for 2 weeks. He just started putting garbage in plastic grocery bags and tying them at the top...... It gets better with taking the garbage bin out too. I always take it out and bring it back. So for 3 weeks I didn't do it. What does he do? Nothing. Oh and if I don't put a clean garbage bag in the kitchen trash can then he'll leave garbage on the counter........

Not to mention if I don't clean the kitchen, bathrooms, and house none of that will get done. I'm not a clean freak. My room is a mess but even I have standards. The best is if I clean one bathroom he'll start using that one and not the dirty one. So I like to clean the downstairs bathroom one week and then the upstairs the next week to get his fat ass moving.

What terrible roommates everybody seems to have. I only share a dorm room with mine, and a bathroom with her and two suitemates, but geez. We all get that we have to clean. Even I'll clean the bathroom every couple weeks and empty the garbage regularly whenever I notice it needs to be done and wash the dishes and all that jazz, and I'm definitely the most cluttered of the four of us (I won't use the word messy, because to everyone I know that has a different connotation than cluttered).

I think this is funny: Showing up to a club's first meeting just for the food. What's so funny about that? My first words to the marketing person were "this is where I can get free pizza right?" She was beyond pissed at me. Which I find hilarious. She even told the president of the club! Oh noes. He didn't care at all. The best part was right after I had said that the guy who came in next asked the exact same thing. I think I made a new bff in that man.

Id say I lucked out on the roomie situation. While everyone is bitching about theirs, I got the two best roommates EVER!

I love him so much. Grrr.



I LOVE my roommate, too. And my suitemates, who are basically roommates. And the two girls in the room next door. The six of us migrated from the same hall last year... They're all great. They're the only people in my dorm building that I trust.

I know exactly how that is! I feel a congratulations is in order. Mine finally just started staying up totally without the use of bobby pins and it's a great feeling. The key is not cutting it through the awkward stages, that was a hard thing for me to overcome.
