Harry Reid, it seems, has placed language in the Senate health bill that would require a supermajority from any future congress from changing any regulations imposed on Americans by the Independent Medicare Advisory Boards.
That's some scary stuff. Jim DeMint has asked on the floor whether it's even constitutional. It would basically legislate a Senate rule change.
What's even more disconcerting is with how partisan divides have grown in Congress reaching a supermajority for either party may be a very difficult thing to do for quite some time.

this healthcare system they have set up looks to me like it is just an extension of an already failing system known as welfare. If welfare wasn't so highly abused as it currently is it would be a good idea. But we are going to give all these people who already live off the hard working healthcare that the hardworking are going to pay for. EVeryday i'm liking the idea of moving more and more.
