Not sure if this has been posted yet, it could also be placed in with the political threads (Mods please move or join if needed)

I know it is a mix between a religious and government can of worms, but wow. IMO, this guy really needs to clean the sand out of his vagina. I understand and respect that not everyone in the world celebrates the holidays the same, the whole Santa and gift giving ideas and all the religious aspects of what Christmas is and I truly respect everyone's belief systems and structures, Even if they don't believe in anything or any religious figures. But common, dude, give it a rest. If someone puts a star on top of a tree, who gives a rats ass? What? If someone used a tin can would he be against the exploitation of Aluminum? How about an old shoe? Would converse, Nike or Reebok take the hit on that?

I was born Catholic/Christian, grew up in what is known as the, "Little Vatican". I don't practice by any means and really don't believe in any of the long story-book known as the bible. But I'll be damned if I don't celebrate this time of the year. I mean, who wouldn't!?! Family and friends gather like its one big party, good times are had and it's a blast! Plus, I'm interested in seeing if my girlfriend was able to find a Sabres item for me that I don't have already ;) j/k

I dunno. I just find this kind of a petty shot by someone trying to stand on their soap box to be heard. I am curious though, when/if someone gives him a Christmas gift, does it say, "Merry...uh...Happy, ...erm, gift giving day"?. Would he even accept it? Or would he call that person a criminal and have them arrested for crimes against humanity and the safety of the United States of America?

I'm sorry, my fellow person. But the only thing criminal in all of this, is that very bad moustache.

honestly, i think this is utter bullcrap

mostly, when people think of christmas, it is compeletly secular

santa, even the star is now a secular tradition, so i dont see the issue

Angel makes sense, but why the star? The star is a real thing that everyone sees and is especially pretty one a winters night. Stars are pretty special for everyone.

I'm completely for religion keeping its nose out of politics in every single way, and even I could not care less about this crap. Hell, stick a baby jesus and some wisemen under that bitch, and a menorrah, and a kwanza thing, and a little muhammed doll...who f-ing cares, that shit is just decoration. Serious case of sand-in-vagina.

The star is placed on top of the tree to represent the star that led the wise men to Bethlehem. Thus, it still has a religious base to it, but still...

Get the fuck over yourself. We live in America where we have the right to live freely and worship who we want. If they wanna have a fucking star, let them have a god damned star you ass munch!
