Yahoo! has video of the ten most embarrassing moments in hockey of the past decade. Check out the "fight" between the Habs' Aaron Downey and Brad Norton of the Senators.

Really. How do you face your team mates in the locker room after that?

It wasn't really Stefan's fault. Same thing for Salo.

Better question is, why did they both get 5 minutes? I didn't see any fighting lol.

I'm sorry. That fight was embarrasing. But Semin takes the cake in my book. As they say, "better to dance around in front of your opponent letting people think you're a limp-wristed sissy, than to actually throw "punches" and remove all doubt."

Yeah, should have been two each for delay of game, seriously.

They got ten minute misconducts.

Oh I know, and then Hemsky brings it back and scores. Total drop the ball moment

They didn't get fighting majors, they got 10 for misconduct or something.

Not a fighting major.

Of this decade? These last 10 years? Most embarrassing moment in hockey in my eyes?

Well, for me.. It was to announce that I was a fan of a sport in which was not being played due to some wankers who were hella greedy, wanted everything under the sun for themselves and cost all of us Sabres/hockey fans a lost season.

I wasn't on the old boards back then, but for those who would frequent an online forum or any random hockey site in hopes of seeing news that any kind of season would be played (shortened or whatnot); Think back to that season. 2004-05. Remember how many tumble weeds there were blowing in the forums? Where once there were talks of trades, goals, saves, hits, fights, were replaced by the letters "C.B.A." and a bunch of legal talk by these same selfish bastards?

Yup. Showing my love for a game which greedy owners and players weren't even participating in was pretty embarrassing. Although today, we are benefiting from that season being the sacrificial lamb, I hope we never live to see a time like that again.

Ever.

How about the Memorial Cup breaking during the post-game celebration? Absolutely classic.

Vesa Toskala added an addendum to the #10 most embarrassing moment (Rob Davidson's 197 foot shortie) when he gave up a goal off his glove to Toni Lydmun last week.

I know, what an asshole. You know European soccer players even find that as a real pathetic attempt at a dive.
