I just thought it was funny that Lydman and Toskala were chatting it up, then Vesa went on to put this beauty from Toni into his own net.

I don't know, there was some great "Lets Go Buffalo" chants in that Ottawa game.

HSBC crowds have been going down in quality the past few seasons.

They need to make the playoffs and get some, "Ooh! Ahh! Sabres on the warpath!" chants going again. That might be my favorite part of the Sabres in the playoffs.

It was loud as fuck. It was a really good crowd. The "Let's get a shot on goal" chant was priceless. Late third period it was loud.

The sarcastic cheering when Montador finally got that SOG was the best. It was about half as loud on TV as if a goal had been scored. I laughed.

Oh, yeah, the crowds are loud at times. But I've noticed that a lot of the time, they're only loud when a goal is scored. Of course, It's not like I've been there, and it's much louder in person...

Every Ottawa game is pretty loud. I remember two years ago I was there for the Jan 4th Ottawa game. Ottawa took a 3-0 lead, but we tied it at 3 when Mike Ryan scored off Ray Emery's back from behind the net with a Hecht-like shot.

The Emery Chant was deafening and lasted several minutes.
