Actually, with the way Cliff Lee is pitching, and the apparent return of form by Cole Hamels, The Phillies could be very dangerous.....

My boss is a Tigers fan (his family moved from Bay City area to Lackawanna when he was a few months old, and his dad got him into them), so I hear about them at work. Winning the division is their only way into the playoffs, so, go Tigers!

(I really don't have my own opinion on baseball heh)

If Dice K's last outing is an indication that he has rebounded, AND Big Papi is finishing strong, the Bosox will be a force....

Tigers = Twins? :P

You guys gotta pick it up, though it's probably too little too late for Minnesota.

I think the matchups feature NYY vs. Detroit, and The The Angels Angels of Anaheim (What does The Los Angeles Angels translate to?) vs. them.

I think them will continue their playoff success against the the angels angels, and the Yankees will steamroll detroit.

people said the yanks would steam roll the tigers in 06, and it was the tigers who steamrolled them. the tigers have better pitching then the yanks, and in a five game series facing verlander and jackson twice?

I remember that in 06 A-Roid, aka Mr. April :o :P , hit like .120 in that series.

The team may consist entirely of holes, as Sizemore's health may be an issue. They threw money at a deteriorating Travis Hafner, when that money could have been spent on keeping someone of value.

This is your fathers Cleveland Indians; sadly...... :cry:

Somebody put a list together of hitters like Hafner through the history of modern baseball. Big guys that develop just past their mid twenties. These guys were all putting up big numbers for four or five years, all broke down by 32, and all never were dangerous again.

Names like Dick Stuart, Gus Zernial, and Jim Gentile. He had a few others I have forgotten; but their careers are almost identical as peak, and burn out.

In 2006 Hafner(age 29) hit 42 home runs in 454 at bats. A year later, he hit 20 less home runs in almost 100 more at bats; hello!! Whoever signed him - Mark Shapiro I'm assuming - knew little of baseball history..... To bad; Cleveland deserves better.

That is the exact feeling I have when it comes to Bills games. whenever I think we win, we lose. whenever I think we lose, we lose. I just try to not think anymore. :dance:
