anyway, technically that movie isnt as CGI as something like transformers. all the Na'vi creatures (or at least the important ones) where all done in a similar, but cooler version, of how Golem was done in LotR. the cooler part being that instead of just the actual actors being in the motion capture suits and actually acting it out only to have the animators lay the character on top, all of it was somehow done in real time. the actors would be doing their thing and Cameron could look at a screen and see the CGI characters doing the same movements at the same time as the actors. its pretty sweet.

in addition, the motion capture actually allowed for them to capture something like 90% of the facial movements of the actors. the animation department, outside of the creatures and background, really had an easy job.

but back to my point...in Avatar, the CGI characters are (you could argue) the actors is "makeup" and not as CGI based as it looks

Why do the Canadian fans say 'Les Habitant?' Because when I looked up the translation from French to English, it means 'the head.' Does this have some sort of meaning to them, or is there just a problem with the translator I used?

Honestly, what the fuck was that movie about. We probably spent about three weeks in English last year studying it. Well the poem, then we watched the movie. I always get excited when I get the Beowulf card in Apples to Apples.
