Agreed. The point of this forum is not to have 10,000 members but limited quality posters. Anyone found 2 be inviting people here runs the risk of finding themselves on the outside looking in REAL fast. This is a private forum. I believe that's been made very clear already.

You have the same active Mods here as there. There will be no bullshit. Have fun. Cause or create a problem, it's a different story. We can already see that this could be an issue so plz people, stop inviting others. Let your Mods do that. If you don't like it, go back to the WPoD forums.

By random people sending out random invites, unless you're a Mod, you have no idea what you're opening the doors to as in IP's, alters, banned members etc. Knock the shit off. Do not take it upon yourself to send an invite to anyone. If I find one more person sending out invites, you will be banned.

This isn't a free for all <believe it or not>

As far as I'm concerned, unless XC says otherwise, if someone shows up and isn't a moron, welcome. If they start shit, they go bye bye. That's just my personal opinion, and I don't speak for anyone else. Again, this is XC's site. If he directs a different standard to be applied, then that's what I'll follow.

I crack jokes about the banhammer and such all the time, but over here, I'd rather not have to. The goal is to to not have this place turn into the troll festival that the previous incarnation of the boards. If it does however, it will be dealt with.

Sorry Schony but Squanto is right, you need more members here and those that were listed weren't ever douches on the other board.

And for the record, just because you're a mod does not mean you are the all great all powerful person, I was a mod/admin on another forum and yes you can see IP addresses, but if you don't know what you're looking for then you're useless. IP's can change, Proxy's, using different computers, and signing up on a common place like a university can all make it look like the same person, plus the IP you see is not the computer's static IP adress, it is the IP you ISP/Router gives you.

That is why there can be five different people with the same IP if they are all logging on at the same time from the same ISP location, like I said before, a University.

I don't necessarily agree that only mods should be able to send an invite. There are some legit posters from the boards that may not interact with the mods much. As long as fuckers like Hal and tomeatmymicrophone aren't coming over then I don't really see a problem.
