I don't remember who said it, but they said Connolly was one of the harest hitters in the league and they hated going up against him.

He's been unlucky the past few years, but I hate to say it, he has already played in 82 straight games dating back from last year without trouble.

Actually, they said the hardest hit they ever took came from Tim Connolly.

I know it doesn't look it because he doesn't send anybody flying, but his small stature and great balance would give you an obnoxiously painful collision.

Connolly is a good size for himself really. 6'1 190 is agile enough but still a size which could lead to some good hits.

Crosby said that the hardest hit he ever took was from Connolly...they were skating parallel and Crosby tried to boost by him, but Connolly must've thought he was going for a hit and braced for impact. BLAM and Crosby was winded, dazed and on the ice.
