Any movement there? I know he wants out, and I'd like to get something for him if possible.

what do you want, a few slightly used wings? :violin:

Actually, I am sure Darcy has a block buster lined up which includes Mancari :liar:

His rights belong to us, and he does have some top AHL pedigree and size appeal for Darcy to pull some kind of trade.

The Sabres will be lucky to get a 6th rounder for Mancari right now.

If he really wanted to play somewhere, he would sign, play his butt off in preseason, and pray that he got claimed on waivers when the Sabres tried to send him down to Portland.

I don't know what he's thinking he'll get out of holding out.

There's zero chance he makes the team to even be exposed to waivers later on. He'd be down to Portland before the roster cutdown date, which wouldn't expose him at all.

He doesn't have lots of options. He should have just signed, come into camp, and worked his tail off.

He's taking career advice from Crabtree... what a dumb shit.

Hey if someone wants him, I'll gladly take that 3rd rounder or whatever it would be someone threw an offer sheet to him.

He has no value here, or anywhere else. He is a career minor leaguer. Well, unless he's had a heart transplant...... :violin:

I don't understand the reason for this "hold-out", nor what he believes he stands to gain from it...

Thinks he's Bruce Smith, and doesn't need training camp. One of them was right at least.....

Mancari would have to clear waivers to be sent down to Portland.

The only way he wouldn't is if he were to sign an AHL contract with Portland. He would then need to clear waivers to be called up if he were to be signed to an NHL contract by Buffalo later on.

He pisses me off more than any other player. At 6'3 225+ he should have been that RW force we needed, with the shot and skill to give at least 2nd line scoring contribution. Instead, look at him...lazy and stupid, out of hockey, and nothing to show for it but a big dose of what could have been. What a waste.

He was never going to be more than an AHL guy, or maybe a fourth line player.
