I will only blame him for flopping and committing too early on almost every SO attempt. Otherwise he did an ok job while the team came out flat and barely redeemed themsleves with a point.

11 rounds is impressive.

But both goalies sucked hard in that shootout. There were way too many missed attempts by the players or shooting right into the chest.

Ya, the whole top of the net was left wide open by Lalime on at least 7 of the tries. I hope no other teams watch the film on that.

I wouldn't bank on it. This system is set to keep ALL games as close as possible. You're only going to see mega offense from us at the end of the games(for the most part, especially with Lalime in).

Probably so daz, but I do like it when we go 11 rounds in the shootout. haha At least Lalime kept it close during that time.

Judging by what I saw in the first period, I don't blame Patty for the loss. I thought he played about as well as he could with what was infront of him. In the shoot out, sure he left the top shelf open a few times, but were goals scored because of that?

I will, however question as to why Lindy decided to give everyone a shot at the shootout? Isn't the rule of thumb in the NHL, that after the first 3 shooters, you can use the same shooter over and over again as needed? Not showing an assload of hate towards some of the guys who participated in it, but I'm wondering why he wouldn't use say a Vanek or the Big Easy again?

Either wya, the 3rd period and OT seemed like a playoff game! I was really impressed with the play of the boys, and the fans were going APE SHIT! If anyone here was at that game, hats off to you guys for making some fuckin noise! That's the kind of energy we need. Seemed like the louder the fans got, the faster the legs under the boys became.

Must be in international play that I was thinking of. I remember Toews taking multiple shots for Canada in the Jr's a few years back.
