I redeemed myself from terrible MW2 playing today. Had maybe one or two games where I wasn't over a 1.5 KDR

I absolutely adore a great many people on here, but some are just assholes, posting their bullshit in otherwise lighthearted and fun threads. At times I often get the urge to go pollute their threads with my nonsense, usually only to find that they haven't started any because they have nothing original and noteworthy to say.

I am so terrible at NHL '10. Have only played once, but give me back my NHL '95 and its ridiculous glitches! I scored so many goals once I discovered those. Win games 105-0. Plus that game had "Sabre Dance" on it, and I associated that song with hockey long before I was a Sabres fan. Used to call it the hockey song when I was little.

Favorite music on video games, though, is still the music from F-Zero for SNES and Sonic 3 for Seeeegaaaa (duh... seriously the Sonic games and Final Fantasy are the only ones from that console anyone ever talks about anymore). Used to pop those games in and not even play, just dance around the room and jam to the music. I loved my midi music, apparently.

NHL 97 was great too. I loved that game.

I downloaded the ROM's for all the SNES and N64 games so I can play them on my computer.

"Blister in the Sun" by the Violent Femmes was released in 1982.

Uhhhhh.

When I was twelve and heavily listened to that kind of music, this song was regularly played between songs by Nirvana and the Foo Fighters and Alice in Chains, and it fit perfectly. I consequently always assumed it was written sometime in the mid-90s without ever bothering to look it up, because why bother? And this is coming from me, Miss I-Must-Research-Everything-that-is-factual-before-forming-an-opinion-on-concrete-matters-and-therefore-oppose-a-lot-of-people-in-my-age-group-on-several-issues-because-these-things-are-obvious-to-anyone-who-bothers-looking-into-them-and-isn't-easily-led-what-on-earth. But then again, I guess this is kind of different than condemning someone for what is actually no reason at all, or believing in some random kind of believable conspiracy theory, or buying into what is commonly stated about different current events.

But still, WHAT IN THE WORLD. I had absolutely no idea. 1982? That was like the year disco died for good.... and you get a song from 1993.

"I really think Indiana Jones 4 should have been based on Blood Mountain by Mastodon. It would have been way better."

I don't know if this is the most stupid thing I've ever heard, or the most brilliant thing ever.

im thinking both. stupid because of the fact of basing and indiana jones movie off a song is well stupid but brilliant because it probably would have made it better...

What do tigers dream of, when they take a little tiger snooze?
Do they dream of mauling zebras or Halle Berry in her catwoman suit?
Don't you worry you pretty striped head we're going to get you back to Tyson and your coozy tiger bed.
And then we're going to find our best friend Doug and then were going to give him a best friend hug.
Doug, Doug, oh Doug,Doug, Doug, Doug, Doug, Doug, Doug.
But if he's been murdered by crystal meth tweakers,
Well then we're shit out of luck.

Finally saw Avatar in 3D tonight. Great movie. My eyes were in heaven! Except I couldn't get over how much the main character looked so much like Sean Avery. Still have to see Sherlock Holmes and Youth In Revolt.

I was thinking about this the other day, James Cameron has said that he wants to re-release Titanic in 3D (and probably in IMAX), I wonder if it's capable of racking in $1.8 billion again? Especially with how much 3D and IMAX tickets are nowadays. That would be hilarious.

Is anyone else still fascinated by the little things in life, or is it just me?
