Lately I feel like all I do is make wise-cracks on the boards, which isn't exactly the defining characteristic of my personality in my opinion. So I guess I can understand firsthand how your online personality can sort of take on a life of its own.

Not necessarily in that order.

After reviewing the Pub's financials from my hammock in Tahiti, I noticed that Crosscheck had nearly bankrupted the place by giving away most of the food and booze for free. Well, despite the pleading of my doting, adoring Island women, I missed you guys and wanted to avoid impending foreclosure.

Thus, I decided to return from my sabbatical and blast things off right with a drunken bash on Thursday night when the Sabres kill the Thrashers.

In the meantime, pull up a stool and have a beer or three on the house...a few more freebies are just a drop in the bucket at this point anyway.

Glad to be back, guys. Just trying to do a little inventory...looks like Crosscheck downed my single malt scotch and dumped most of my macro beer, but other than that everything seems to be in order. We should be good to go by Thursday. Meanwhile, here's a keg to keep you guys smiling until the party.
