I've been high on Backstrom for a while now. He's my fantasy goalie of choice along with Lundqvist because they continually put up good numbers.

MAF is a good goalie, but he's overrated. He's not elite yet. Almost, but not yet.

I don't like him really.

I've said it before and will continue to say it, without Malkin and Crosby putting up the numbers they did last year in the playoffs, they would not have won a cup.

Obviously he is good, or he wouldn't be in the NHL. I'll give him a few more years before my final judgement on him, because he can only get better. But his Sv% last year in the playoffs was downright terrible, a .908 isn't too impressive, especially in the playoffs.

The year before that he was the reason they made the Finals.

And this year he has a .904 right now on the season.

Well they did get Spezza and Alfie back about when this winning streak started.

tonights game is of utmost importance for the sabres to win. those games in hand dont mean a thing if you dont win them.
