We're second in the league, in regards to number of players with 10+ goals. Only Washington has more.

Any stat buffs want to provide the salaries for the top scorers? I'd be interested in seeing who else is making 7M and what they're doing.
Also, who probably has twice as many goals as TV at half the price.

Hindsight is so awesome. Had we not matched the offer after the 7/1 fiasco, we'd have been ballistic.
Now we're left with someone over paid who's not putting up the numbers a top paid scorer should be.

He's so overpaid dollar wise vs production, how can we ever get rid of him?

If someone has time, let's see the stats for numbers of goals and salary. I'm curious. If I don't see an answer tomorrow, I'll look it all up and post it. I like the fact that you never know where our goals will come from and want to see if there is any correlation to the $$ contract. I'd still love knowing where our goals should be coming from (at 7M) more.

Thomas Vanek did not ever tell his agent to demand $7mil from the Sabres. That being said, he'd probably be at about 5.25, and he'd still be underperforming for the money.

Vanek just sucks, he has the worst plus/minus on the teams 40 year history.

They just pretend to give him Pluses when he is on the ice, but in reality, whenever he touches the ice he gets a minus because he can't backcheck.

For every 30 seconds on the ice he gets a minus.
