Aud I'm so sorry that that happened to your friend and you.

I for one wished the guy who knew about what was going to happen, or knew the gang was going to come by would have fessed up. If it is any situation regarding another life, someone should man up and rat them out.

I hope for the love of God those thugs are found and brought to trial and never see the light of day again.

We're with you buddy, and we all hate to see our friends in turmoil and feeling bad. Remember any of us will talk with you if you need it.

Hey gang, this is an update of sorts for anyone who may be curious as to the goings on in our little town..

Since I started this thread, it looks as though justice is being served! We've been informed that the RCMP major crime unit has made 2 arrests in this case. One guy, has been on the lamb now since last June for weapons charges, attempted murder and other counts of reckless driving. They have one more suspect in their sights, but their name is yet to be released to the public. The two who were arrested are from Halifax (aprox. 2.5 hrs away). Other arrests will be made as they have wrapped up the collection of evidence and are now going forward with the process.

In a good light, in Jon's memory, there has been close to $10,000 raised for his family between a benefit dance and a rural league hockey game, amongst other donations to the family!

Anyone else who had a hand in this, they might run, but they can't hide for ever. This is the best news I've heard regarding all of this since the new year.
