He's an asshole. get him off the team. Enroth is an up and coming prospect, the sooner we get him some game experience, the better IMO. ;)

If he chokes in the playoffs, you'll blame this thread, won't you?

from last nights game day thread:

Miller's rebound might have been smaller cause of the type of bumps in his pads(i think they kill rebounds more)

Ya, the bumps in Miller's pads are why he has better rebound control than Lalime.

actually, caro, they do. lalimes pads are flat faced, which dont really break in. they stay hard as a rock, but allow for easier movement in the butterfly position. millers pads are old ccm vector 10s (with reebok X-PULSE graphics) and are not flat faced. the shin-roles act like an accordion when he is in a butterfly, and the pad actually collapses a little, softening the blow of the puck, and the subsequent rebound is pillowed slightly.

petr skudra had the best pads, they were flat faced, so they were lighter and thinner, but eagle also put a thin, pillow-like surface on that flat face. why no one else has done this, i have no idea.

Jordano and I already had this discussion via PM. What I was trying to say (and what was clarified in our discussion) was more about Lalime's decision in controlling/deflecting his rebounds more so than each goalie's equipment.

I love the look of Miller's old pads. So worn in and battled-tested. In the team photo that spans the covered walkway between the parking ramp and 200 level concourse, he's wearing his new Reebok pads. They suck.

You are a goalie....you can't help but sink your teeth into a discussion about equipment. ;)
