Connolly had the right idea, bad execution. He tried to lift it high but lost control and nubbed it into the pads.

Oh, well...I thoroughly enjoyed that game despite blowing a 3rd period lead and losing. Great action. Losing back-to-back is not a nice feeling, though.

Shootouts are just stupid. It takes very little hockey skill to win a shootout. It's a glorified game of think fast.

They're 2-5 in SOs, but don't worry - I'm sure Miller had the shooters set up just how he wanted them.

They'll matter if it's game 7 in round two, and the game isn't in HSBC. I don't like them either, but it's pretty damn frustrating to keep giving away that 2nd point.
