Busy night tonight.

Carolina beats Atlanta 5-2
Ottawa beats St. Louis 3-2 * I think this puts them eight points behind us
Islanders beat Florida 2-1 (SO)
Tampa beats Toronto 3-2 (OT)
Philadelphia beats NY Rangers 2 - 0
Columbus beats Boston 3-2
Washington beats Pittsburgh 6-3 * Damn, the Caps lead the East with 70 pts.
Detroit and Minnesota in 3rd 3- 3
Phoenix leads Nashville 2 - 1
Chicago is tied with Calgary in 1st 0-0
Dallas vs. Vancouver
Anaheim vs. San Jose

The Sens have creeped up past Boston and will be in striking distance if we stumble badly on this road trip.

Great game in Philly. Gaborik and Carcillo even went at it.

When Carcillo and Avery fought later, I even rooted for Avery. When he was throwing punches at that rat, he seemed like such a nice guy....
