Lord, he's the hottest player in the league atm.

I don't know about that. He's been doing phenomenally well, however in his latest streak he's managed 23 points in 14 games, or 1.68 points per game. Thats awesome -- but considering ovi is 1.61 on the entire season it doesn't seem as incredible

edit: and Henrik Sedin has 27 in the last 14

OK, so H.Sedin has 3 more points, but what's his points-in-consecutive-points streak? And I used "at the moment" for a reason haha

Sorry, but I don't see 1/2 of a season as enough to move a guy from a "High Risk" pool to a "Low Risk" pool.

And I don't even work for a car insurance company!

It wasn't half a season. It was May 2006 when he suffered the head injury, April 2007 when he started playing again, and March 2009 when he was re-signed. The 48 games Connolly played last season, with production and physicality without any side effects, were just the icing on the cake that he was past the high risk stage. That was 34 months after the head injury and 23 months of playing time (on and off due to unrelated injuries) without another head injury.

All in all, Timmy has looked good. Gettin close to Perreault's record of what? 18 games I believe?

As long as he stays healthy, and nothing as of late (knock on wood) has really come up to nag him too serious this season injury wise, he'll be one of, if not the best Sabres forward heading into the post season.

Faith. I haz it in T.C. :D
