Mine had 30" tires on it. It's a 4wd off-road hatchback :D

I guess I'm new school, I'm into the 17 inch rims and slammed with a slight stretch in the tires.

Mhmmm

Dang only a 1000 pixel wide image, makes me sad. :(

Had to choose the smaller picture of that beautiful car.

Here is the big one:

Wouldn't have to worry about snow where we live though, so I'll still take the S13. :)

My first car was a 2005 Chevy Cavalier. I still own it. My car has been wonderful to me.

Mine was a 97 Ford Taurus. Taurus' are the freaking best. Sunroof, pleather seats, extremely old lady lady looking exterior to keep me from getting pulled over; that thing had everything I wanted in a car. I miss mine so much  The only reason I upgraded to ole Beefy is because my stupid brother totaled it driving back from a Bills game. Mother effer.... :snooty:

congrats on the first car, sc! hope it's treating you well

Wow.

I got mine late, but not that late. I got mine when I was 15.5 or something, didn't get my license until I was 17.

You can't even get a permit here (or most of the country for that matter, except the south it seems) until you turn 16.

Which is how it should be - 15 is too young to drive, even with a parent in the car.

I was almost 17 by the time I got my permit, got my license when I was 17. I'd actually be in support of having to be 17 to get a license.

It's insane. Down here, you can get your permit at 15, and get your license at 15...So many kids die down here.

Here you have to be 15 to get your permit, you also have to go through drivers ed for two weeks, and you have to drive with an instructor for like 6 hours, and you have take courses like defensive driving and alive at 25 to get your permit here. I didn't have to take the extra course, but you have to keep your permit for an entire year before you can drive, and for the first 6 months of your license you can only drive from 5am to 9pm unless you are coming home from work.

So basically, you are taught every possible thing, and in all honesty, I don't think 15 is too young for your permit, many kids have driven something before they turn 15 anyways. And it forces the kids to have at least one year driving before they get their license.
