Zilla, here's some good ammo for your formal complaint.

I just checked my mail on another forum whose Admin I had struck up a working Mod relationship with. This e-mail is two months old, and I think I just died a little when I read it. If there was ever any doubt about the competency of the Sabres Webmaster there isn't anymore. I can assure you that none of us Mods ever knew about this. It reads in part;

"The board still isn't where we want it to be, but it's slowly getting there. They had a live training session per phone or computer a week ago for all mods and admins...did they tell you about that? There's also an NHL board dedicated to all admins and mods of all teams to report problems and discuss issues...have they told you about that either?"

Sorry - I keep thinking of things to add.

Please remember that it isn't/wasn't just us doing the complaining. The NHL is largely to blame for this mess. Other teams have active Webmasters and Administrators who took their Mods and forum members complaints seriously.

The Oilers Admin were so dissatisfied with the kickapps boards that they've refused to use them. Take a look at this thread; http://fans.mapleleafs.nhl.com/topic/52840

If the Webmaster had taken an active role like a few other forum Admins did, things might have been different.

Just gotta find the right person to bug the shit out of.

Nope, you won't be.

Since they went to the universal login format of Kickapps, by default mods couldn't ban a user. Some other boards have worked in ways to ban specific users from specific team sites.....but not ours.

The old canes board had some real defensive mods. I got warned for jumping into a bitch thread about how the pens didn't deserve to go to the cup finals because they sucked and were able to draft crosby and malkin.
