I tivoed it because of the football game, but I'm excited to watch it! I'm hoping for lots of familiar faces and Buffalo pride.

I'm watching it on ABC's website. I can't wait to see the son's reaction to the Bills helping. I'm still in the first hour. SO COOLLL!! What an awesome lady.

Just finished watching it. I was literally sobbing. Has anyone driven by the house? Is it still looking beautiful? I hope all that hard work doesn't get ruined by urchins.

The house they did in Raleigh, apparently the people who owned it had to foreclose on it and crap, I hope the house in Buffalo is still owned by the people who had it done for them.

That was a different circumstance. That family started a construction business, and put the house up as collateral. When the business failed, they lost the house since they couldn't repay the business loan.

That was no fault of the show at all.

I have a feeling Mrs. Powell isn't going that route. :)

I know it wasn't part of the show's fault, the show pays off your entire loan of the house anyways.

I think I read something like out of all the houses they've done, only like 4 or 5 families are no longer in them.

i wish i could say "oh, that type of response from the community would happen anywhere!" but i cant. if this show ever came to flint, people would just rob from the construction site at night. fuckin pathetic.

kudos to you guys and your caring nature.

but ill be honest, i never watch this show. the host is a huge penis. but if they ever do this in my area, ill help. because i love building shit, and working with my hands. something about hard manual labor that i enjoy doing.

I like how on the show they were like, "We have over a thousand volunteers! This is the most ever!" but it was actually over 6,000.

Have fun beating that, future cities.

Of course Brian Moorman would show up.

Showing time and time again why he is my favorite NFL player of all time.

For a house that is falling apart, it looks incredibly nice on the inside all things considered.
