Fucking terrible call! That in no way was a fucking cross check! Although even if there was a penalty, the puck was never touched by a sabres player after the penalty was committed. Now usually when a penalty occurs the team that committed it has to touch the puck to freeze play so shouldn't the goal still stand with a penalty coming afterward? Or am i just retarded?

Goal's waived off if there's a delayed penalty on the play. Same thing happened when Butler got highsticked against the Islanders a few weeks ago.

I don't recall seeing a raised arm on that play, though.

The commentators are correct. The cross checking penalty was just a cop out because they had no other reason to call that a no goal.

What a bad, uneven rule anyways. Anytime they have pressure on Miller, we should just "accidentally" knock off our own net and hope we get a good call.

Oh didn't know that but there was absolutely no penalty signal on the play. No raised arm by ANY ref! He seriously just made it on the spot as the announcers said to get his ass off the hook. Fuck that was just brutal and there was barely any contact by Gaustad
