(My dream house would have dark, old-looking/actually old wood floors, visible beams, gorgeous wood staircases and woodworking around the doorways, wood window frames, white walls and ceilings with that almost pueblo look to them if you know what I mean... ahhh)

I like the comfort of carpet, even though it's horrible for you and hard to clean.

Oh, the stairs would have to be carpeted, at least one of the flights, so the kids can slide down them on their bellies.

The carpet my roommate and I got for our room at the beginning of last semester was a pale tan then. Now it's basically almost brown.

Hockey Night in Buffalo

Indeed.

It's also coming out that David Homes is going to try and do something similar every year. Won't be to the scale of EM:HE,but I like the idea of it becoming an annual tradition to go help out a block or two.

Is David Homes gonna utilize Buffalo ReUse again? That organization, though flawed in a lot of ways, has a FANFUCKINGTASTIC mission.
