So you must be equally offended that CNN and MSNBC etc. are silent on this front.

Same thing, no?

This'll get your blood pressure up ;)
Poll: Fox News most trusted news network
Fox News #1 cable network last week <-- not #1 cable news network, the #1 cable network. Edging out USA network.

"A Public Policy Polling nationwide survey of 1,151 registered voters Jan. 18-19 found that 49 percent of Americans trusted Fox News, 10 percentage points more than any other network.

Thirty-seven percent said they didn’t trust Fox, also the lowest level of distrust that any of the networks recorded.

There was a strong partisan split among those who said they trusted Fox — with 74 percent of Republicans saying they trusted the network, while only 30 percent of Democrats said they did.

Sorry to continue here, but my computer was freaking out on the post where I quote the article.

My point: this is a survey of not even 1,200 people. I could look at the voter registration rollshere in Portland and make my own survey where I call only people that fit a specific description. I bet I could come up with survey results that say the Green Party is the most trusted political party in America, and those results would mean just as little as the results this survey of barely 1000 people.

I am in fact annoyed that CNN and MSNBC didn't report on this.

As far as Fox being #1? American Idol and Jersey Shore get good ratings too.

Oh yeah, and this too. Popular support for a person/idea/network/work of art has never been something that necessarily indicates quality in my opinion.

People don't tune into American Idol and Jersey Shore to get the news of the day, facts of the world and political opinion.
I would imagine that would be the part that would get your blood pressure up, not just that Fox is rated #1.

I don't trust a damn thing either one of them says. It's a sad fact that the "news" we get in the country is little more than bloated propaganda for whatever side the network they work for sits on. I take these shows for what they're worth.....a few good laughs at some pompous, arrogant, self-serving asshat trying his/her best to sound intelligent........all the while resorting to third grade playground tactics and name calling to prove a point. They're all a big joke.
