I'm much less concerned with adding muscle mass than I am with losing copious amounts of belly and thigh fat, so I'll be doing more execising than working out.

just weighed myself. i am at the same weight as yesterday. too be fair, i did eat some crappy foods yesterday (spaghetti, cheez-its, a slice of pizza, and a banana)

This thread could be really helpful, because I'm on a real weight loss kick, too. I had a nasty breakup a little while ago, and had wayy too many girls nights featuring wine and chocolate. Then with school and everything, I gained, gained, gained.

So I've got some time off and I've been really focusing myself to eat healthy and exercise, and i've lost about 10 pounds already. I think most of that is just from flushing my system out with about 100oz of water a day which works wonders. Except it makes you pee every 4 seconds, which is not so fun.

My dad has all these Men's Health posters for workouts in our bonus room with his weight equipment.

I'm going to start one that is all dumbbell weight and it says use this to build mass and such.

It's three routines in one week, with four different workouts.

I did the first one yesterday, and boy it was sorta tough on some of it, but I hope I get to see some results in a few weeks.

Played hockey today, 880 calories burned in 1 game... (love my workout monitor)

I also got run the fuck over by some oaf who can't skate...all in all, a pretty productive day.

aerobic day for me.

3 sets (12-18 reps) on leg curl, leg extension, leg press, calf raise, low row, high row, jammer, bench press, arm curl, and skull crushers. then 15 minutes on the treadmill (random hill setting, 1.75 miles), 15 on the bike (random hill, 5.4 miles), and 10 on the stair stepper (106 flights).


2 hours...boo ya
