I have never seen titanic. Hell, I had to request a weeks worth of vacation just so I could have the time to watch Watchmen. And don't even get me started on Benjamin Button...

I've seen parts of it, but It's just too much movie for me, and it doesn't really interest me.

I know everything there is to know about the ship and the movie. I should be a certified Titanic historian. And a Marilyn Monroe historian too, now that I think of it.

I have a really great dog that cannot seem to grasp the concept of un-winding herself from around my poor little euonymous bushes. One's already bitten the dust; the other is on it's way, even with a stake in the ground. It never fails; when the snow is the deepest, and I am the least dressed for the 40 below weather to go untangle her........

I hope my trip to Russia doesn't get cancelled. They just cancelled the trip to London today, and it was going to take place over spring break. :?

I could be a historian on three different people, that I can think of off the top of my head. Holy cow, I know everything. One of them's just a taaaad bit frustrating because it's like swimming upstream knowing so much because of all the idiotic comments made about the person by the average child in my generation (and not in my generation, but it's the worst in mine I think). :? Caroline can probably relate to that, perhaps, because I've heard a lot of harsh comments about Marilyn Monroe that were just sad. There are a lot of people out there that don't bother putting in any research whatsoever before condemning a person of just about anything you could ever imagine. That is mind-boggling to me. People may not always be gullible when it comes to facts if they're not interacting with a smooth talker, but when it comes to other people, they're absolute idiots.

There are some specific historical periods, too, but I hesitate to say that because I don't know quite enough about the sociological and cultural shifts leading up to them to actually write a book, probably. I'm planning on writing my senior thesis on one of them. I've found that most people are ignorant concerning one of them in particular, as well, and it's one that will really influence opinions in other areas, depending on what a person believes about it. It's kind of sad.

I'm always reading books on sociology and culture and prejudice and the arts and anthropology and psychology and philosophy and all sorts of things... Writing a book that ties all of it together by looking at a specific period in time and maybe a specific person or two from that time period would be amazing. That would be a lifetime's work, though, and I doubt I'd ever have the time considering what I want to do with my life. I would really love to do that, though. Maybe a little research here and there after I graduate. I don't know. I'm just so interested in all that stuff.

There's a guy in my Visual Communications class named Bobby Orr. It was funny because today we had to say something about ourselves and he was like, "I love hockey...I mean, my name's Bobby Orr."

Yes, definitely... I've just learned to pick and choose battles when it comes to trying to defend her.

Supposed to get 14 inches of snow this weekend. Woohoo!

Would be amazing if the first day of the new semester on Monday would be snowed out. Although I would be a little disappointed because I'm gonna be taking herpetology and zoology and I'm really looking forward to those classes.

Wow, random ass fucking night.

Went to a friends house, we were supposed to go to the Steer, instead we ended up playing 2 games of 28 cup beer pong, and then went snow boarding over at Alumni hall...all in all, way more fun than going to a bar and hitting on girls 6 years younger than me

Sounds pretty good, but I can top it. The girl I love (she doesn't know it yet) found out that our school is sponsoring a study abroad semester in N. Ireland. She is absolutely in love with Ireland and everything about it and started freaking out when she read there is a trip there. So for the rest of the night we looked up information about the possible schools there until she was tired and wanted to go to bed, but she was still a little restless from the excitement so I read her stories of Celtic folklore until she fell asleep.

Start my internship next Wednesday! :)

That's where I'm going to be making my money to go to Florida and to have some extra liquidity. Things feel so right at the moment. My boyfriend is wonderful, classes are going well, I'm getting healthier, I have an awesome vacation to look forward to, and surgery in May. :D
